SUMMER CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOP
information

2024 June 15 Saturday workshop

Each one-day intensive workshop gives musicians of all ages and playing levels the opportunity to create music with other instrumentalists, as well as cultivate valuable chamber music skills.  Each workshop will conclude with a recital, to which family and friends are welcome to attend.

Participation fee for each workshop is $175 per musician (non-refundable).

Where is the workshop held at?

Workshop will be held at the Chicago Youth Symphony space in the Fine arts building OR PianoForte Chicago in the South loop. Click here for address and directions.

How Do we register?💻

Please contact the Chicago Trio if you are interested in participating. For group assignment purposes, new students and returning students ( who are not Chicago trio member's students) should email us MP3 or YouTube video of them playing one piece that demonstrates their current level of playing.

Our goal is to match chamber music students with ensembles that will be a best fit fir their age and playing level.

Once we know each student's playing level and summer availability, we will determine our workshop dates with your group assignments and send you an acceptance e mail along with the registration form. Payment information will be included on the registration form.

Please include the registration fee with your completed registration form by the specified deadline to ensure a place in our workshop.
The registration fee is non-refundable after you register

If the registration form is not received by specified deadline, we cannot guarantee you a spot at any of our workshops.  We recommend you apply early, as space is limited!
